On the eve of a big and round birthday, my latest narration is up at Cast of Wonders! The Surfacing, by Kurt Newton, is a story of an 8 year old girl who is desperate to help save her daddy after a bad accident. You can find it at http://www.castofwonders.org/2013/12/08/ep-107-the-surfacing-by-kurt-newton/. I truly love this story and feel it’s one of my best narrations to date.
Regarding Cast of Wonders, have you been listening to the weekly installment of the production of “Camp Myth: Phoenix Watching” by Chris Lewis Carter? If not, you should be! Each Wednesday a new chapter is released. The story, of a summer camp for over 120 races of mythical creatures, is really very entertaining and, it’s being done as a FULL CAST PRODUCTION featuring some incredible talent. I had been having some trouble with my recording studio when the production began this past summer so I was, regrettably, not able to be a part of this when asked. However, it is so well done that I am not too heartbroken about it. (Just slightly heartbroken!) You can find the Cast of Wonders Camp Myth page here: http://www.castofwonders.org/camp-myth/
In other narration news, I submitted an audition yesterday for an ACX project, so my fingers are crossed. I have had some offers from a few different authors for other projects recently, but I didn’t think I was a good fit for any of them so I’ve had to decline, but this one seems to be a good match. Wish me luck?
Lastly, but certainly not least, today is the last day of my thirties. That means that tomorrow, a MONDAY, I will be turning 40 years old. Yes, it’s true. I will be celebrating 4 complete decades of life on a rainy Monday. Getting to spend the day shopping with my dear mommy, however, is enough to sweeten it for me though. I certainly don’t FEEL as if I’m “old” and that’s what matters most, right?
