I woke up this morning to the very wonderful news that ACX has done all of the QC work and has approved the recording of Sister Raven! It is now available for sale on Audible and will be available on Amazon.com and iTunes shortly too! Woohoo! I am very proud of this project, and as you have probably guessed, I LOVE the story. This news made me forget the sinus headache I woke up with.
Then I left for work. Since I have had a flat already in late November and again in early January, I have gotten into the habit of looking at my tires before getting into the car. I did see that the front driver side tire was a bit low, but it looked that way yesterday too (and I forgot to have Brian fill it.) So I got in the car, turned on the next chapter of Interference by Erik Luke (free audiobook that I very highly recommend you get through http://www.quillhammer.com or iTunes or your favorite podcatcher…) and started my commute. I traveled only two blocks when that tell-tale flapping noise was heard.
I had pledged after the first flat that I was going to renew our AAA membership. Then again after the second since I procrastinated. Even just this past weekend I told my mother that I needed to renew. Well, this morning, I again became a member of that club.
It’s not even 8am. I wonder what other peaks and valleys I will traverse today? Hopefully, whatever I experience will be like this picture. While there are downward turns to this hill, it’s only shown, ultimately, as heading up!
